Philip McMaster's unity efforts became public in the late seventies as evidenced by the following photo and caption

"SPOTLIGHT ON CANADA - "IT'S ALL OURS" is the name given to a display at the Lambton Mall through Saturday. The government display features a puppet show, film and photographic display, and posters, pins and brochures. The display concerns the beauty and size of Canada, as well as the natural resources, diversity and potential.
